Tivo-PPP (over serial) for Windows 9x

With the latest utilities backup's are quick, easy, and small ( should fit on a CDR ) there is simply no good excuse not to!!! So stop whining and do it!! :-P For the back up we're going to use Hinsdale's how to, there was simply no reason to even attempt to rewrite such a beautiful and perfect how-to. However before you go I strongly suggest using Kazymyr's boot cd it will make this SO much easier, burn it yourself, find a friend, or buy it from 9th tree.
Ok now go to Hinsdale's how to and use steps 1 - 7. Don't restore! At least not back on to the original drive, the backup should of course be fine, but if its not you just nuked your TiVo before you've started and are going to be looking for someone to loan you an image, not easy (yet not impossible). I don't mean to say its of any REAL concern, but it could happen and at least if you find out later your no worse off. Testing is a good idea if you happen to have a spare hard drive of the same or larger size to test it on.
